How to stop your bathroom mirror from steaming up - Home ...

Here?s a quick tip you can easily do this weekend to prevent your bathroom mirror from steaming up when you have a shower. It only takes a couple of minutes and is a very inexpensive way of solving this rather annoying problem we?re all faced with on a daily basis.

The way to make sure your bathroom mirror doesn?t steam up is to buy some original shaving foam (the white foam, not gel) and spray it on the mirror. Once you?ve done that get a piece of kitchen paper and rub the shaving foam into the mirror and keep doing so until the foam is no longer visible.

If there is any residue of the foam causing the mirror to smear, then get another piece of kitchen paper or a dry J cloth and wipe the smears and residue away. The mirror should be shiny and the next time you take a shower or bath, it won?t fog up!

If you?re installing a new bathroom then you also could look towards getting a heated mirror. You can buy decent ones online from around ?150 ? but remember, these will require electricity in order to heat the mirror so they aren?t the most economical options.
